My niece and I rented Matthew’s place for a girls trip and we had a wonderful stay! The cabin was just as pictured and everything was so clean. We enjoyed all of the outdoor amenities and the peaceful setting. We loved watching the deer, turkeys and the cows in the pasture behind the cabin. We were not able to perfectly align the projector but we did watch a movie outside. We also played mini golf and of course we played a lot of pickleball! Having a court at the cabin was an amazing perk! We even got up early to get in another hour of play before check out. We had one issue (that was our own fault) and Matthew responded promptly and walked us through a solution. We are familiar with the Blue Ridge area but we still appreciated the binder with all of the local information. It is apparent that a lot of care has gone into building and maintaining the home and we would definitely rent from Matthew again.

I can’t say enough great things about this house. It’s beautiful, well appointed, centrally located to downtown Blue Ridge and shares a fence with the most quaint pasture. There were plenty of things to do at the house when we didn’t want to go out. The house was clean and Matthew was a wonderful host. It was easy to check in and out. Would definitely stay here again.

We came down for a quick summer trip and absolutely loved this cabin. The hot tub was easy to use and was a perfect ending to each night. With so many amenities and on-site activities, our group was well entertained! Our group especially loved the pickleball court and mini golf! The kitchen was spacious and well stocked. However, some of the cookware had very loose handles which made them a bit difficult to maneuver. Overall, staying here was a very pleasant experience and we would highly recommend it to others!

My friends and I came down to celebrate a birthday. Needless to say we were super happy with our choice in Matthew’s property! This cabin looks just like the photos and was all we hoped for and more! Plenty of space for a big group of people, everything was super clean and instructions easy to follow for check out! We plan to go back to Blue Ridge before the summer is over and we will be booking with him again!

If you’re looking for a cabin, stop right now and book this one. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, spacious and in a great location nestled in the tall Oaks . Cabin backs up to a farm so it’s secluded . It has every single thing you would ever need for your stay. We saw plenty of wildlife, baby deer turkeys you name it . We had a wonderful stay and wished we had more time. A++++++

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at Matthew's cabin. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, and had lots of fun activities for the whole family. We enjoyed the pickleball, putt-putt, cornhole, pool table, outdoor projector, hot tub, and all of the outdoor seating options for watching the horses, cows, and deer grazing in the pastures behind the house. The Blackstone griddle was a really nice touch as I've been contemplating buying one and this helped me to test drive one for a few days. I loved it and have decided to get one! Blue Ridge has so much to offer and this house seems to be no more than 10 minutes from anything you'd want to do. Matthew was very responsive and gracious to us and we would highly recommend this house to anyone. Would definitely come back!

Our stay here was wonderful. We were looking for a spacious place, pool table, hot tub, comfy beds, fireplace, and full kitchen and this place has all those things, and some more. We can be picky about mattesses, but the beds were great and we slept very well. Matthew clearly put a lot of thought into the place! We appreciated how everything was labeled clearly, was easy to find, and just how much he provided for you to do. Unfortunately it rained too much of our stay for us to try out the pickleball court or mini golf, but we did get to enjoy the hot tub and the fireplace on the main floor porch. The whole place was very beautiful, even in the rain. The back yard neighbors a pastureland and we had a gorgeous view of it. Most mornings and some evenings we got to say hello to the cows as they grazed nearby, which was very sweet. There was definitely a lot to do in the area as well! Shopping, dining, hiking, or just driving around. We would be happy to come back and stay here again.

Matthew's home is exceptional and he is an incredible host. He has thought of every detail and his home is beyond comfortable. From the fire pit and the mini golf, to the outside movie screen, he has made this a perfect getaway spot for families. The kitchen is well stocked and all three floors are well furnished. We loved seeing deer, horses, and cows from the balconies and still only being a short drive from restaurants and activities. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for being a great host Matthew.

We loved staying here. It was such a beautiful place and only a couple minutes from downtown. I really enjoyed beating my cousins in ping pong, corn hole, and putt putt at the cabin. We intend to make this a yearly trip from now on and will be rebooking with Matthew.
